Welcome to the “Screw Warner Music Group & Co.” Blogsite! This site was setup in protest of the narrow minded stance regarding copyright by WMG & its subsidiaries. Their apparent greed & “couldn’t give a #*%$ about the fans” attitude has meant that a large slice of music history & the opportunity to attract new fans for artists (most of whom have decreased exposure) has been sadly missed :-( Yes requests are taken but only if they contain commercially unavailable material ;-)

"The Glamorous Life" is a song written by Prince in 1984 and first recorded by percussionist Sheila E.. The dance song has lyrics which reflect a cynicism for the decadence and materialism of the song's protagonist, referred to in the third person, who "wants to lead a glamorous life", although she is aware that "without love, it ain't much".

"Sexuality" is the second track on Prince's 1981 album, Controversy. The song was also released as a single in Germany, Japan and Australia.
"Sexuality" is a fast-paced track, built around a synth bass line and drum machines. Much like "Controversy", a funky rhythm guitar is used throughout the song with brief stabs of rock thrown in. Similar to the song "Uptown", Prince describes a society free from prejudice as a "New Breed". The political number also takes jabs at tourists and the sensationalism of television.
This rare clip was provided to us & audio remastered by Shane formerly of YouTube’s “80sWOW” & now KlassikClips". Thanks for sharing & hopefully now other Prince fans will able to enjoy as well :-)
"Pop Song 89" was the third single released from R.E.M.'s sixth studio album Green. It peaked at #86 on the Hot 100, and in the UK Stand was re-released instead.
In the music video, MTV asked lead singer Michael Stipe, who directed it himself, to censor the three topless women with whom he was dancing in the video. Instead, Stipe superimposed black bars on the chests of all four dancers, himself included, and stated, "a nipple is a nipple."
"In the Air Tonight" is a song by Phil Collins which first appeared on his 1981 album, Face Value. It was the first single of Collins' solo career, and remains one of his best known hits.
This unique & rare version of the video contains the exact audio stream as it appeared on the original album. The original video clip however, contained a different audio version which featured the famous Phil Collins “echoing” snare drums playing at low volume from virtually the beginning of the clip until the drumming crescendo.
